It was around this point that Victoria started tuning the Gentleman out. Given the irrelevant (to her) gobbledygook he'd spouted thus far, nothing he was saying now would be of any interest to her. She sighed. This had been a colossal waste of time.

Just as Victoria was preparing to leave, the Gentleman's hatchet sunk into the floor. Now [I]this[/I]...this was something interesting. A conceptual weapon that could cut through anything? Now that was an excellent toy, all right.
