Ginny was just there but doing NOTHING at all except snogging boys and being well...useless. Ron on the other hand was NOT goofy or funny or even amusing for me anyway. He wasn't even the class clown, he was just kind of dimwitted and had bad luck. And yet somehow he manages to have a "career" in Quidditch when I think Harry was supposed to be the star there. I don't see Ron's charm. I liked him until halfway through book four when he started to slam Hermione while denying his crush on her. He uses her for doing homework and then nags her when she wants him to put in effort in ANYTHING. Id' see their relationship as a short term one. She can do so much better than a guy like Ron. Not to mention Hermione marrying Ron and Harry marrying his sister just seemed SO fucking weird and a bit convenient to me. I mean how are family get togethers gonna go? *shakes head*

Hermione had brains and once she hit puberty...she's even better. Harry and Hermione have a reliable history together where they don't verbally abuse one another. They are both smart and skilled and come from a muggle household too. Urgh. They're so perfect. And it's winter...I might need to nag you for a Harry / Hermione roleplay. All the good Harry's are gone and bleh.

The fact is, I liked Sakura from day one. Yes, she was annoying at times but she had some great strengths that got blurred out in the beginning because Kakashi felt a need to focus on Sasuke and kinda Naruto. Sakura isn't perfect but she could have been one the best female fictional protagonists I've come across in a while...anime wise I guess, without having to show off her tits because she's smart and beautiful as is. And Kakashi well...he's fine no matter what. XD
