No you're not plan B, it's just I've had so many awesome partners leave after RPing for like 3-5 pages and then vanish and it hurts. I haven't found any good HP players so I haven't done it in a while...

Okay here is how I spun Tenzin & Asami which may be less awkward:

She's without bending, alienated by Korra and Mako (circa end of season one when she's staying with Tenzin and co.) and feels helpless and lied to. Tenzin is stressed and planning to take his family somewhere safe. He leaves and Asami is left to tag along without having much of a reason since Mako and Korra are kind of a thing. Amon is defeated and Asami goes back to trying to make something of her father's company. With Korra and Tenzin training (season two is being scrapped) it could cause shaky terms with Pema with all the stress of her taking care of the family. Fights break out as Tenzin insists that air bending is important and Pema accuses him of putting bending before her, like usual. He says if she was a bender, she'd understand, their relationship is on the rocks. Meanwhile Asami seeks help from Tenzin because the stress of finding investors is hard and fuck, Tenzin is stressed with Korra and his wife (even though he still loves his kids) so he makes weekly visits to Asami's to help use air bending and meditation to bring more relaxation into her life. There's even a chance Asami is ambushed by some creep and Tenzin swings and saves the day, thus prompting Tenzin to see Asami as more mature for her age (which she is) and Asami to realize Tenzin needs a new lease on life, some excitement so thus the sparks fly.

Anywho, that's hold I sold someone on the pair.
