Name: Cedric Wessex Alias(s): Starchild Age: 15 Affiliations: Heroes Description: Out of Costume In Costume In Second Costume Powers: Cedric can wield any tool or instrument that he can touch with his body. Or, more specifically, he can wield anything that can be concievably be used as a tool or instrument, including - in theory - superweapons made by S or SS-class Metahumans. This power has concrete limits, though, in that one:Cedric has to touch said tools first, and two, the fact that when not in costume, Cedric is as vulnerable as any human kid. There's also three: the fact that if Cedric has nothing in his hands, then his ability to help is sharply limited. These combine to confine him to a specialist role as long-range support. Skills: Cedric has a theoretical knowledge of strategy and tactics, as well as stealth, despite the impracticality of his costume - which can turn invisible (see below). ((Everything else has been deleted)). Equipment: Cedric, after his basic training was done, was provided with a suit of power armor that grants him basic protection, transmits diagnostics back to HQ, and can turn invisible. He also has an Augmented Reality Device (GoogleGlasses) on his mask, and, finally, a wide range of weapons (which he does not always carry on his person), stretching from melee ones such as knives or clubs, and ranged ones such as tranquilizer guns, assault rifles, shotguns, and of course, the sniper rifle. He also has a taser and stun gun. There are times in which the Power Armor and invisibility function are impractical, due to power requirements, so Cedric goes into his second costume, which is basically child-sized military gear. Ranking: C - A Rank. Brief History: Cedric Wessex was lucky, lucky to have a Metahuman talent that can be mistaken for 'natural genius', in this case, a genius for musical instruments. This talent was noticed by his rich parents, who put him in a music school, as well as gave him tutors for his other subjects. However, the boy observed that his talents applied not just to musical instruments, but with computers as well, along with writing and drawing implements, and, most mysteriously, lab equipment. This caused the boy to grow suspicious, and thus try and hide his abilities so that he can live a normal life. However, it was not to be - on a visit home, he found out that several Federal Agents had gone to his parents first... ...And persuaded them that Cedric was not only a Metahuman, but that the best chance for him was to register and work as a 'Hero'. In Los Angeles. Cedric reacted to this news like any kid would if asked to go to certain death - run away, get tackled by federal agents, and then kick and struggle like someone possessed until he had to be sedated. After being taken to a federal facility, he was so disobedient that he had to be repeatedly tasered and beaten, until he developed Stockholm Syndrome towards one of the few Agents that didn't treat him like trash, and this syndrome developed until he willingly agreed to serve in LA, provided that the Agent who didn't treat him badly was his 'handler'.
