As for Cath's and Santa's relationship, meat-cooking + free goody bags.. She'd probably bother him a lot, not as much of a mooch but more the fact that she can be fed by him and worry less about needing currency for buying things. 

Totally not using him or anything.. She's just your average freeloader.
