Arachne nodded, happy he didn't ask more things, and closed her eyes enjoyably. She felt lighter since she had spoken to Daemon about her past, as if a burden had been somewhat lifted. She realized she didn't hate him either, though she felt betrayed and hurt by his actions. 

Mina smiled. 'She was a demon, actually. A pure soul, nobody exactly figured out what she was. She held enormous power, but could walk the earth unlike my father could. Obviously she caught Father's eye, but she was a bit like you; she didn't simply give in because he was the ruler of Hell. He had to win her over, fight for her, defend her against all odds and eventually it worked and she fell in love with him.' Mina smiled and looked at the cave ceiling dreamily as if it was the greatest love story she had ever heard. 'I was born several ages after my father wooed my mother and got her to marry him.' she stated.

'Sure you will, and I'll be waiting for you.' she stated coldly. She walked outside, not connecting him to the leash she had in her bag yet; otherwise he'd really work against her. 
She led him back to where they first encountered the slime and waited.

Zayne looked up at her a bit, before gasping in surprise when she kissed her. Her body tingled as power flowed through it and she looked at Liz. The promise of feeding made her eyes shimmer brightly and she nodded.
