The pack practically ran out to met them as Adam drove up. The whole way there, Avril stared out the window in silence. Adam wasn't sure what to make of her absentees, or her slap, but he honestly did not have the mental energy to deal with it. "I have to get back to school." he told her and the pack as he parked his truck and got out. "Yeah, whatever." Avril got out of the truck and started for the house before turning back to Adam. "You are no better then my father, whom you despise." She told him with a hiss. "Someone show me my room!" Avril stormed into the house, followed by one of the pack's younger members. After about five minutes of waiting in her room, she couldn't stand it anymore. She wasn't going to stay cooped up. Making a quick decision, Avril climbed out of her window and headed for the school. Sure, it took her a while but she got there about 4 hours later. While keeping an eye out for Adam, she made her way to the library hoping to find a word she could read about in order to escape her own world. She walked into the building and headed towards the back to browse. Not too long after, she turned down an isle to see Jason standing there. For a moment she just stared at him, her mind blank then she turned on her heels and walked away. She didn't want to deal with him if he was going to be a pain. She didn't care. Adam looked up as Amanda walked in. He had attempted to grade papers, but his mind kept replaying Avrils words in his head. "Hey Amanda." he greeted softly, rubbing a hand over his face. "Don't worry about it. I am glad I could have helped." His voice was distant and void of any emotion. "I hope you had a good day." He told her as he looked back at his papers, pretending to go back to grading.
