Quinn Daives She fucked up...Her first chance to make a friend at this school, and she fucks it up. What idiot that knows she suffers from low blood sugar and sodium forgets to eat lunch? Which, of course, led to passing out in the middle of the hallway like a bitch and getting a concussion from hitting the goddamn floor. Ow, by the way...That led to a quick check up. Ugh, and don't get her started on her medication or, lack thereof. She'd been getting reduced doses of it to keep from overwhelming her body in the middle of the school move, which led to her body, hormones, and emotions going wonky. Right jab, left cross, duck, swerve, right jab, right hook...The sound of flesh solidly connecting with the punching bag calmed her greatly. She'd been in the gym since her hospital check as a way to calm down. It wasn't the best thing to use but, it was effective in keeping her levels balanced well enough. Her routine was the same as it'd been at home: stretch, warm up run, weight and resistance training, contact training, then cooldown. For today, she decided to take it easy and just train on her strikes and kicks. Right knee, left back kick, step, left side kick to a hook kick, step, back elbow--And lights are gone. Quinn shifted and searched the bag with her hands and body with a frown. Her body ached wonderfully from the work out, which was a welcomed change to the constant ache of unintended anger and arousal she'd been plagued with lately. Carefully, she walked over to her gym bag and felt around for her juice and towel. After a quick wipe over her face, she piped the bottle open and drank down the liquid. Quinn hated the taste, and couldn't help the grimace that flashed across her face. The girl packed up her things and pulled off her lightly weighted braces from her legs and wrists. She felt around for anything she might have left then laid down on the cold mat. A groan of frustration left her chest at the interruption of her workout, and the coolness of the floor was having the opposite effect on her overheated body. She stood again, grabbed her things and stumbled her way out of the gym. She needed a cold shower...sooner rather than later. Now...how to find her dorm room while it is dark as dickholes...
