Planet L-1 City of the Explorer_______________________ The City of the Explorers was a city that's on each world; the city with the primary purpose of showing all that the planet has to offer, often with the best entertainment and luxury. Of course, the entire city was built like an architect's dream; almost everything followed an entirely different pattern from the norm, in a very smooth, curving, spiral-oriented way, where every building was built to be pleasing in its construction in every possible way. All the way down to the flooring and wiring. Nothing could be hidden; the walls, between the spiraling beams of dark-red metal, were a single plate of 'citysteel', which can often end with more than over twn miles of square surface area. Because of its purpose, it also had a bit more security than other planets. Being slightly closer to gaining the full-population status, it had more security in the point of ground forces. Primarily, just Engineers who know how to fire the auto-targeting weapons, and regular Hunters with exoskeletons, with two or four shoulder mounted weapons. As it was, they had more military forces than Planet N-1, and one of those 'branches' was the type that has walkers. Walkers are preferred because they don't destroy the ecosystem, and with their home planet and all their native wildlife dead in the only war they had ever known, they try to keep all animals alive. So shortly after a ship came crashing down through atmo and struck earth, a Varren appeared in orbit, and a convey of three general combat walkers, two railwalkers, and two supply/troop walkers. Shortly after they assembled, which was shortly after the unknown ship crashed, they headed out, shortly before the message was detected. So really, they arrived about ten minutes after the message had been sent out, with some ordnance pointed at the intruders, with the three general combat walkers in front, the two rail walkers hanging on to assorted giant trees scattered throughout the area, and the transports a short distance away, away from the line of sight. The railgun walkers were like snipers; the general combat had brought a team of three Tinkerers, which are pretty much just small, low-powered plasma cannons and with a couple salvos of small anti-tank Swarmer missiles.
