I love the drug idea, maybe something similar to the grossness of homemade krokodil, where the impurity of the drug itself literally eats away the flesh of the user? I feel like maybe I should note there's two kinds of gangs, gangs that deal in business and gangs that deal in chaos. I like the idea of having more mafioso type business thugs and then the insane nihilists that live for destruction. 

The cyborg PTSD thing sounds interesting, would you mind explaining it a bit further? Are they getting their PTSD from memories of surgery?

No fear! We could discuss the potential of greater plots when we flesh the world out more, once we start thinking about characters and making links between each other I think the plot-lines will become more apparent. I just rather not put all the eggs in one basket and commit to a single story when we could instead do something different and focus on collectively building a world.
