When the sun rose Duplo woke Ada before she changed form. Just as the sun began to peek it's first rays into the sky Duplo helped Ada carry Kirin into the wagon where she was tucked safely into a sleeping bag and cushioned by many of the wagon's blankets so the jolting would not wake her. As the last blanket was tucked in the first ray of morning came out and struck the forest around them. Duplo turned to face the sun, her porcelain mask reflecting the bright sunlight and she began to glow. It was a mesmerising process, first she grew a light coat of fur, then her limbs shrank. Followed by the face morphing and at last her torso shrank. When finished and the sun god light up the sky in a blaze of gold and a fluffy teddy bear lay slightly leaning to the left in Ada's wagon. Ada sat there wondering what to do, usually she just left toy-Duplo in the back of the wagon, instead she tucked the toy into Kirin's arms. That would annoy Duplo. That day Duplo dreamt a dream she had for the up tenth time. She sat wrapped in a warm blanket on a patio overlooking a dam surrounded by forest. Before her a bed of coals glowed calmly. Then behind her a screech echoed, and the dream ended. Ada woke Fritz and helped him shuffle groggily over to the wagon where he settled semi-concious inside the wagon. She retrieved Willow and harnessed him up, he shook out his mane ready for the days work. Fully buckled, Ada checked Willow to make sure all his straps were comfortable. With a sigh she unclipped the breaks of the wagon and closed all the doors. She led Willow out the camp as quietly as possible for a large noisy wagon. On her way out she caught sight of Fimion asleep in his tent, the stubble on his chin made him rather attractive and asleep he looked peaceful. Ada bit her lip against a welling of sudden guilt. Ada walked alongside Willow towards the road, her mind flicked to Aegar for a while, trying to figure him out. Oh well, move on Ada. You have other things to focus on she reasoned with herself. "Let's just get to Haneul and restock, then off to Eira. No distractions" she smiled lightly to herself and put her hand on Willow's warm neck. What am I to do about Kirin, I hope what she says is true and she does have a relative in Haneul, if not. I can't bring her with me, I'm too dangerous to care for a child like her. But she would prove useful, she could look after Willow. But what if she gets scared or he gets spooked and rns off, no. Rather not. Back on the main road Ada hopped nimbly into the driver's seat and took out the book she found yesterday from under the seat and began to read to pass the time. In a short while the birds would wake and so would the children, maybe she could make something for breakfast?
