History: Nasreen was the daughter of a neurologist and a critical care flight nurse. She grew up surrounded by medical knowledge in a well-off and rich setting. But her most important influences other than her prestigious parents was her best friend growing up, Jason. Jason was an art student who always walked past her private school on his way to the subway. She and him became very close after a while and she began to spend her nights out roaming the streets with him. He was sly and a thief, but she saw some kind of honor in the way he acted. - By the time she was a teenager, she'd learned a whole lot from him. But he began to associate with bad sorts. Becoming involved with a street gang, Nasreen too was pulled into the darkness of the criminal activity. They stole for the sake of taking for their own enjoyment and desires, and she thought them selfish. Before she knew it, she began to spite them. But they kept her around because she had some slack medical knowledge from her parents that proved useful when they had initiation fights. Jason was the main reason though, as she had become romantically attached. - When she hit eighteen, she and Jason began to date. But their relationship was put under strain when she went to university for emergency medical services and he remained a pusher for the gang. They began to fight over the definition of right and wrong, and the gray between each. At nineteen, Jason was killed. It was a case of police brutality, and yet it was warped in court to say that Jason had reached for the officer's gun. Nasreen knew him far better than that, and immediately shut herself off from others. The gang threatened her to come back to pay off Jason's debts and to provide her services as an EMT (at that time) to them. When she refused, they terrorized her. After a while, Nasreen terrorized back. - When finally she was able to cut ties with the gang, she excelled through school with minimal friends. Her only friends as she considered them were the people at her local rescue station where she worked. She eventually moved up and became the Captain of Squad 3. Further she went on to get her Masters. But by the time she got her Paramedic, she had begun to see how the world was shifted and depraved. Her already dark concept of justice grew as she saw patients assaulted by others, people made homeless because the rich fired them, or people who were the victim of being financially cheated. She viewed, and still views, herself as a vigilant agent of justice at times. But as she gets older, her sense of justice fades and she becomes more chaotic in nature, using her close ties with police and 911 services to provide an excellent charismatic report so that she can profile officers and avoid detection when she does act slyly. - Other: Currently certified: -Nationally Registered Paramedic (NR-P) -Firefighter I (Firefighter Basic) Certification / License Continued Education: -Tactical Medic -Critical Care -Advanced Cardiac Life Support -Advanced Pediatric Life Support -Ropes III -Small Spaces Rescue -Vehicular Extrication -Trauma: Ballistics -Trauma: Head, Neck, Spinal -Trauma: Assessment and Management (Full Body) Degrees: -Masters of Science in Emergency Medical Services --Minors in Psychology and Fire Science
