Orin is indeed a current resident and lives with a half-elf friend who he helped get back on his feet. Will probably go in the direction of Orin lacking experience with some of his Druid skills and abilities, to makes things more of a learning process. Can't have him knowing everything.

Also, I am assuming it is nightfall in your post, unless I am completely inaccurate in my own comprehension of the setting, or just having a moment.
