Fury ramped up his speed as he saw the General make a narrow escape, with superficial wounds at best, but he was far too late. The discs ruptured above the building and exploded, aiding the destruction of the building. Pulling up at the last moment he stood there floating in the air, trying to calm himself enough to make use of some of his more passive abilities. This was a lot harder said than done however, considering the building just in front and below him seemed to crumbling to dust right in front of his eyes. He had no illusions that the General, someone he had seen pretty effortlessly launch an incredibly heavy metal object, could withstand a lot of pressure and damage, but the collapse of a building seemingly directly upon him gave the Fireen some doubts as to his ability to survive. Still, Fury hadn’t survived this long by making quick assumptions. He gave the General the benefit of the doubt in this case, and using the gifts bestowed upon him by the Void itself he looked down at the rubble, his eyes highlighting points of unusual energy. It was only a matter of time before he saw the General, presuming he had survived, and in preparation for that moment another nasty looking ball of energy was forming in his right hand, which he held claw-like in front of his heart. “Come on, give me a real fight.” He muttered to the air around him, peering at the building and surrounding area carefully for any sign of an unusual energy signature.
