You're making the grossly false assumption that activity would be much higher in Spam if the Skype group wasn't a thing. You know how before the guild crashed Spam was still rather highly active? Yeah, Skype group was highly active. It a completely different venue that truly has little bearing on the Spam section of RPG, aside from the fact that the people are mostly brought in from here. Also, she totes did.[7:21:52 PM] *** Sophi removed Awson from this conversation. ***[7:22:27 PM] Sophi: what a hateful, snide little man[7:22:34 PM] Sophi: why stay around people you can't stand, i don't get it[7:22:52 PM] Sophi: it's like going to a party and talking about how much you hate parties
You can't say for sure. Just like I can't In my opinion, it "truly" does have an actual bearing on Spam. It was only slight back in the day. After the guild went down, Skype stopped being the off-shoot of the constant that was the Guild. When the Guild died, Skype became the comfortable constant. And now Spam is the off-shoot in people's minds. Regarding what Sophi said: I love these people. I don't hate the party. I'm just (apparently misguidedly) trying to save what I think is a sinking ship. It's saddening that I've become the enemy. I can't decide if it's been historically more common for the person in my shoes or your guys' shoes to be correct. Which is annoying.
