Devika blinked a few times. She'd definitely heard him. Above all the din and excitement, she'd focused on his calm, soft voice. His lack of emotion was a relief in this room. Leaning back, she tried to repress her sudden embarrassment. "Y-you want to go on a date... with me?" She gave him a confused look. "...dude, I've got like... 4 years on you... and besides that, I'm not... I'm not..." She reddened even more. "It wouldn't work."
