In addition to his past experience as a Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, Chief Unser has demonstrated his ability to continue to learn and adapt to any situation. He has led many of his men in and out of fires, saved hundreds - possibly thousands - of lives, and has been able to come back to the fire station in one piece. Always experiencing high stakes, Unser shows true tranquility in both the house and on calls. He believes that a calm mind preserves ones ability to make the correct choices. Though his physique may reveal that his age has gotten to him, he still has it in him to do anything his firefighters can do. With the determination to bring everybody home after every sound of the siren, Chief Unser has everything it takes to lead the firehouse to absolute glory. He will never give up on his team, he has full and utmost confidence in their abilities. Age: Fifty Two Years Old Height: Six foot One Good Personality Traits: Calm, collective, determined, trustworthy, powerful, one-step-ahead, and a leader. Bad Personality Traits: Over-occupied, sometimes mislead, difficult, overly determined. Short Bio: Dennis was originally named Daniel Unser, but changed his name to continue his grandfather's legacy. His grandfather - also named Dennis - lived during the Vietnam war, playing a very gradual part in it as one of the first African Americans to fight alongside the Anglo race. Despite his death in the war, Dennis' father taught his son much about his granddaddy. Dennis' father was a firefighter, old veteran in the United States Marine Corps. In attempt to continue the family legacy, Dennis joined the Air Force when he became old enough. He was put through vigorous training along with discipline. Later learning the ways of leadership and ending up one of the highest ranked officers in the force. After being honorably discharged, Dennis took the job as a firefighter, also climbing the ranks and soon becoming Chief. His father passed away before he did this, but knew in his heart that he'd of been proud of his accomplishment. Chief Unser has indeed experienced the loss of many comrades and brothers during his time in both the Force and the station. He sometimes struggles when their memories roam his mind, but he strives to continue, promising he'd never experience a loss again and does everything in his power to prevent it. The only way forward is to march on.
