Sincerely, Zandore the III Headmaster of Zandore’s School for the Gifted --- Premise You are one of the recipients who have received the special invitations to Zandore’s Academy. It is famed to be the most unique ‘school’ in the world yet many consider it a complete enigma. Located east of Chiba, Japan, Zandore’s Academy is supposedly found on an offshore island. It has extraordinarily large grounds and a plethora of facilities. As destiny or fate or maybe your parents had it, you enrolled into the school. Unbeknownst to you, you will be forced into the 'Supernatural Studies' club where you will encounter pleasures and horrors alike. Your story begins as you wait along Yokohama port for the school's private ferry to arrive... --- Information Booklet
Zandore founded the school in 1950s. However, the school was but an obscure one and had little influence. Many did not want live away from civilization to study in a school with little history. It was in the mid 1970s that Zandore the II revived the school by amassing enormous funding through various influential people. Yes, Zandore the II was an 'exceptional being'. The official reason that the school was built is said to be Zandore’s desire to help preserve and protect the greatest humanity has to offer and to provide for them an environment that allows them to expand their abilities to that of their full potential. However, many speculate he did it ad a father to create a home for his son. Regardless of the reason, Zandore's Boarding Academy has produced many excellent individuals throughout the years. However, there have also been numerous graduates that have gone on to become menaces to society; mafia bosses, legendary thieves and whatnot. Zandore's Academy is a school meant for everyone; geniuses, prodigies, misfits, oddities and monsters alike. Have no fear though, for whatever you arrive as you most certainly will leave as something more. The school holds a completely neutral stand towards its students. While this ensure there is no discrimination, it has caused outsiders to fear the school as much as they respect it.0

Zandore's Academy works on a reward system that grants greater privileges and rights to those with higher rankings. Classes in each year are divided from Class S all the way the way to Class F. In short, there are 7 ranks with Class S students receiving the most benefits. They have more leeway regarding school policies and receive various incentives such as additional services and higher allowances. Fret not, even Class F students receive enough to complete their studies. The system is there to motivate students to excel in their fields. There are two ways to rise in the ranks. Firstly, there is the traditional way of simply producing results. Be it academically, club activities or even external achievements, the teachers will access the weight of these achievements and students are reclassed every 3 months. The second way is via the shuffle matches. A student of lower rank is allowed to challenge an upper rank student. The rules as well as the game are decided by the upper rank student. If the lower rank student wins, they swap ranks. However if he/she loses, they drop in rank. Class F students are not allowed in shuffle matches.

As mentioned in your letters, students will all receive a weekly allowance. Your student ID will act as your debit card while you study here. How do you get a higher allowance? Simple. You will be rewarded a weekly allowance based upon your ranking. You will also receive it from teachers for exceptional work. The quickest way to gain higher allowance, however, is to perform well in the various events hosted throughout the term as the winners here are awarded various rewards which often include a large amount of cash. Your dorm room, school supplies, and daily meals come free. Your allocated allowance can be used for anything outside those areas. Anything you wish to acquire can be gotten. Whether you want to buy coffee, furniture for you room, or an authentic samurai sword all can be gained through the use of points. Guard your IDs well for without them you will find yourself quite out of luck. Should a student file for a new ID, he/she will have their balance reset as well as be dropped down to Class F.

Students are free to stay in whichever dorms they please as long as they meet the requirements. Prominence - To describe Prominence as a mansion would not do it justice. It is an opulent building fashioned after the gothic style meaning it is a large stone structure that comes complete with towers, large windows, and ledges covered in elaborate statues. The interior decoration is equally old fashioned but the air of class and refinement is unmistakable. The dorm grounds are several times larger than the other two, with well-kept gardens and even a large pond. It is surrounded enclosed by three meter high fences. Although it has enough rooms to house several hundred students, it is currently occupied by the 86 Class A and higher students. West View – Located on the western edge of the island, West View is basically villas donning the side of the beach. They all use a modern concept giving off the air of the wealthy. Since only the beach at West View is maintained by the school, it is a popular spot for students to visit for a swim. However it is also located furthest from the school which in the central area of the island. It currently houses over 200 students, all of Class C or higher. Academia – Academia is the largest dorm on Zandore Island and while it has the most basic design out of the three dorms, it is by no means run down or anything of the sort. Academia is a company of 5 story terraced houses which form a semi-circle around a park.
