To celebrate the fact that Yakuya would officially become a Genin today, his mother let him have him his favorite dessert for breakfast chocolate cake. When he was finished with his huge slice, he headed to the bathroom to clean up. Just as he was to leave the house his mother called him to the kitchen. "Since this is a big event for everyone involved, I have prepared enough slices for everyone."Yakuya knew that with everyone she meant his new team mates and their Jonin mentor. "So take these lunch boxes with you." He also know his mother well enough to guess that she included a second slice for him.

With his gifts in hand Yakuya headed to the Academy, arriving after about fifteen minutes of walking. However before entering this time he looked up at Hokage Mountain. [i]"Sure would be nice to see my face up there, but that won't happen."[/i] After a few seconds he entered the building and headed to his team's meeting room, and noticed Makoto was the only one who made it there before him. "Hey Makoto, how are you doing? My mother decided to bake cake for everyone, so I hope you'll like it." With that out of the way Yakuya set down one the boxes he had been carrying on the desk the other Genin was sitting at, and grabbed a seat himself not too far away from him.
