I'm sure based on his interview, Katniss will confront him about how he feels about Prim, which will cause him to consider how valid his affinity for Prim really is. Gale already accepts his death, he thinks he can get far but he wanted Katniss and Prim to make it out alive. He'll probably put more faith into the plan and hang onto that hope, if there is any. Gale isn't very complicated, he's a simple boy who enjoy things as they are, without drama which is probably why he gets along with Katniss because she's so blunt but when things with Prim get unsettled, he really doesn't know what to do.

Watching Peeta's interview is interesting, he can be so charming as hell, but it just makes me wonder why he couldn't be that way around Katniss...I dunno before the Games? Maybe that could have changed things but I'm sure deep down Haymitch is pretty charming too, he did seem comfortable trying to recruit sponsors for Katniss. Nya~
