Aw, Gale is just a simple wolf. If he goes on before her for the interview, she's going to be distracted during hers. I could see a sort of Katniss/Peeta thing happening with the viewers and Caesar as well and them thinking that Gale volunteering for Prim is sweet and romantic.

Maybe he got all derped up around her? I always saw it that he was really nice to her when he had the chance and she was just a cold fish because she didn't understand why he wanted to be with her. I think Haymitch is very much in his element with this, so Katniss and Peeta too probably will get to see a different side to him. After all, Haymitch got them more than a few gifts during the games and that takes some pretty intense people skills.

I ended up going to bed last night, but this is still the only thing I have to do :3 and my fingers don't hurt today, so I'm ready to get started!
