Former/Current Occupation: Soldier/Security Chief of the SS Chronos

Personality: Ben, having spent nearly ten years as a soldier, tries to be very practical. Military discipline and structure has its place, but Ben knows that often, it bogs down and gets in the way of the job getting done. As security chief, his primary concern is the safety of his ship and it's inhabitants. Though it's technically the captain's ship, he cares nothing for authority, and will do whatever is necessary to make sure everyone on the ship doesn't die horribly. 

Biography: Having served in the Second Great War as a commando, Ben has seen his fair share of friends die at the hands of the alien menace. When the war reached its bloody conclusion and the remnants of humanity boarded the Chronos, Ben reckons he's one of the last, if not [i]the[/i] surviving soldiers. Like many of Earth's special forces operatives, Ben was recruited straight out of the orphanage at a very young age. His training regiment was hard, but Ben passed all of his tests and was assigned to a unit. His career is exemplary, but not extraordinary. Despite the best efforts of the defense forces, humanity was beaten and forced to flee. Ben was assigned as Security Chief, both due to his experience and lack of a replacement.
