Alaina sighed, a frown on her face as she entered the Triskellion. She had received SHIELD’s message just the day before, informing her to come meet the new members of the team she was apparently being assigned to. No explanation or reasoning had been offered. She had no idea who would be on this team, who would be leading it, or what they would be doing. Alaina worked alone. She had always done so, and she was good at it. She wasn't sure why SHIELD felt the need to change this now, but no matter what the reasoning behind the decision was, she was slightly annoyed. She would follow orders when given, but that didn't mean she had to like them. Alaina walked briskly down the building's many hallways, hands adjusting the collar of the leather jacket she wore. Dressed all in black, snowy white hair fell down her back in sharp contrast to her clothing. No specific time for this meeting had been given, a fact that just added to her discontent. Alaina liked to be on time, early if at all possible, but she supposed she would just have to let it go for now. Coming to the particular door she was looking for, she sighed once more, if a bit dramatically, before opening the door and stepping inside. What she saw briefly made her pause, blue eyes narrowing in slight confusion. They were in one of SHIELD’s training rooms: one man, one woman, and one… bear-like octopus creature. One eyebrow raised, she opened her mouth as if to ask a question, but then closed it, shaking her head slightly and stepping fully into the room without a word. A man in a suit, a blonde, and an octo-bear stood in a shiny metal box. It sounded like the start of some particularly twisted joke. Her eyes briefly swept over the small group, taking in their appearances. “Alaina Grey,” she said, nodding her head in greeting.
