Yeah man, actually that's why Ben, at age 21 still only has 3 weapons to requip outside of his masters dagger. He doesn't even wear armor yet because he is still so ignorant to feel as though his offensive power is all he needs. So he and Yukiko will have plenty of time to grow up together, With the practice and growth of his Wind magic eventually Ben will be able to fly :D
