Wookies can't speak basic either, but Chewbacca's nephew was accepted for training. As for them finding a Jawa that was force sensitive, if I was writing it, I'd say Luke went back to Tatooine and one tried to sell him a droid, steal his speeder, or something. He eventually finds out that the Jawa's been using the force to trick people into buying his stuff or something.

Personality: Curious. He wants to understand everything, including machines and the Force.
Backstory/History: He was born to a prostitute in Mos Eisley, his mother insisting that his father was an old hermit that lived out at the edge of the Dune Sea named Kenobi. He grew up poor, his mom barely making enough to support her both of them. He worked at the space port, making deliveries of fixing minor things, using the knowledge he had gained from his studies to turn a profit any way he could. He also picked up parts from the local junk dealers, parts that he thought could easily be repaired and then resold.
When he was thirteen Luke Skywalker came through town. He found the Jedi master at his docking bay and insisted that the man test him. In order to learn if the kid really could be Ben's son, he tested him, finding him to be fairly strong in the Force. Though they didn't have a sample of Kenobi's DNA to compare his to, Luke offered to train him as a Jedi. He's been with the Jedi for three years.
Strengths: TK, TP, Enhancements
Weaknesses: Impulsive like his father, he often falls for enemy traps. He lacks the concentration for the more complex uses of the force such as premonitions and tutaminis.
Abilities/Skills: Fixing things, Computers (he's a decent slicer, but doesn't specialize in it), droids, and the occasional ship part (he studies Star Ships in what time he can spare), Force push, knight speed, mind trick, descent lightsaber and blaster skill
