[hider=Setting]The story is set in medieval times. There will be a great deal of travelling, so there will be many different climates.

The princess's kingdom is located in a valley where dragons do not want to go near. This valley is called "Flaming Torch Valley," and was once the home of a dragon god named Azerl

The history of the kingdom and dragons was bright. Long ago, dragons and people lived together in harmony; however, that was not to last. A dragon killed someone, and the people turned and drove the dragons out with their mages and other powerful creatures. That was 1299 years ago.[/hider]
[hider=Dragons]The dragons that roam the world, are wild and fierce and many hate and hunt them. Magic flows in a dragon. Dragons only have one power (Elemental powers are preferred). 

Dragons cannot converse with humans; they can try, but it will only come out as roars, growls, and hisses. They communicate to each other through mind-speech (a.k.a telepathy).

Dragons live to around 500 years. They continue to grow throughout their lives, but once they reach adulthood, their growth rate significantly decreases. The size of the average adult dragon is around 16 feet tall with a wingspan of around 30 feet. No dragon can grow larger than 23 feet tall.[/hider]
[hider=Humans]Humans do not have magic or special powers. Welcome to life, you're nothing special.[/hider]
[hider=The Princess]When the dragon god Azerl died, he transferred his power to the princess while she was still in her mother's womb. He hoped that she would be able to bring dragons and humans close once more. Unfortunately, her powers terrified her people and at the age of 15, she was banished from the kingdom. She now travels around in search of dragons and allies.

The princess is capable of talking to the Dragons with telepathy. This telepathic ability seems to only work with dragons. She also has the power to shapeshift into a dragon and befriend all dragons.[/hider]
