Devika could feel the anger that he was trying to bury. It was mingled with a fine sense of shame, and one of regret. His body was calm, yes, but Devika could tell what he was repressing with each action. Her soul hurt. "Y-you can help rescue. I-- I have to..." Getting up from the bench, she nearly fell over from dizziness before she fled the gym. She got outside and several feet away before she collapsed and started to cry, wailing like a child. Sadness flowed from her in waves, and all around her, the very air seemed to become thick with grief. Plants seemed to shrink away, small animals curled into balls of submission.

Devika wept.
