"Damn, she wasn't kidding about the barrier," Sasha grumbled as her energy shots fizzled on the glowing wall. The damage indicators helpfully told her she was doing zero damage to it. Sasha felt disappointment in her heart; she thought she had gotten strong enough to be more than just a push over. A simple spell from one person had them stumped. Angrily she fired a couple more shots into the barrier for good measure. "I thought your slashes might do it." Sasha snapped, losing her temper. They couldn't just turn back and leave now. Not when the rest are still heading inside. "We could take another way. This probably isn't the only corridor. Besides, I think it would be easier for us to blast through a wall than this damned barrier." At that moment, Sayo's telepathic message reached her. She jumped at the sudden voice, and spun around in alarm. Only when she paid attention to her words did she relax. That was embarassing... Sasha gave Silas a shrug. The "left wall" was just that- a seamless wall that appeared to be exactly the same as any other section of the corridor they were in. Sasha couldn't see how there was supposed to be a secret entrance here. Nevertheless, she began search it from floor to ceiling, carefully examining the surface for any cracks. The stress of the situation, however, was getting to her. If she didn't find the secret wall, Sasha's patience would run thin and she would simply start blasting at the wall itself.
