Shown to the world nearing the end of the twenty first century it represent the pinnacle of robotic engineering, being able to process and move faster then any of it's predecessors. It was produced in the then fledgling labs Brass Enterprises. it was worked on day and night by a group of scientists and engineers but there was one of them, Dr. Phelps, who really took a liking to Five, tending to him more then other scientists. The good doctor would stay in the evenings to monitor Five and during this time, during boring evenings, he taught Five a bunch of random stuff, like shuffling cards, putting on clothes and small hand gestures (may they be rude or otherwise. However one evening (or rather a string of evenings) changed Five's life, Phelps stopped showing up to hang around with Five, he was stuck behind a glass door in his charging chamber, looking out into the dark room and waiting for the familiar bearded man but he never came. Slowly Five grew unresponsive to the scientists, something was going on in his CPU, something was missing from routine, missing... He missed Phelps, he felt loss and with loss came other emotions that the scientists picked up on. They decided after a few years it was time to retire Five bit instead of scrapping him, they put him behind another glass box, however this one was in the Brass Enterprises museum and this is where he stayed, doing the random things Phelps taught him, living with sadness he never knew was emotion.
