Cassie had thought he might be afraid to do such a thing. After all, it didn't take too long for humans to change, and if this fever meant she was going to change, then there was no telling what she might do to him if the change completed while he was carrying her. This made her hesitate a little when he knelt down to let her on his back. She couldn't help but wonder why he was taking such a risk when they had just met a little over a day ago. Why would he risk his own life to save her? He really was a strange boy. Sighing, she finally wrapped her arms around his neck, yelping slightly as he stood up. She was definitely not use to something like this. "Are you sure I'm not too heavy for you?" She asked, leaning forward to look at him. She of course didn't know it, but her weight was actually quite light compared to that of normal humans. Though, how could she know that when she hadn't been near another human in so long? Situating herself on his back to make this more comfortable for the both of them, she sighed and nervously looked toward the door of the shop. She could only hope this went well.
