Rank: Corporal Class: Sniper Weapons and Equipment: GSR-2 Scoped Rifle 2 Ragnaid Canisters A foldable blade contraption he made himself Personality: Straight forward, no BS sort of guy with a healthy sense of humor. He seems to break the stereotype that snipers are "quiet and reclusive" individuals as he is surprisingly social with his fellow soldiers. He has a strange "meh" approach to the idea of death. Once couldn't really call it bravery nor a death wish. He just seems very calm about facing it and dealing with it. Over all he's a fairly nice individual who values reason and rational thinking, Bio: Krauss was actually born from a family who had immigrated from the Empire only a handful of years before war tore across Europa. His father was an engineer who has been helping with redesigning Gallia's factories to be more efficient while his mother was, oddly enough, a professional hunter and active conservationist. His parents were, needless to say, an odd pair indeed and had a great impact on Krauss's outlook. He grew up learning about the construction of various mass production machines to how to steady a rifle after a jog. He also played peace maker half the time between his mother and father as they would constantly argue over various subjects, mainly the environment and nature. Despite that, they both dearly loved their son and each other. Since Krauss was born in Gallia, thus technically a citizen of the nation, he was forced to participate in military training much like every other citizen once he was of age. He surprisingly enjoyed the physical and mental challenge of the training and graduated from it with top marks, earning him PFC right off the bat. He then went on to study a wide variety of subjects, including his favorite, military sciences, while in his free time competing against friends in shooting contests. Krauss also enjoyed learning about metal shaping and the various little technologies that made the larger scale production possible. He even designed his own mass production blade as a class project for his college. As the danger began to rise Krauss saw that conscription would be inevitable, and decided to get it over with. Upon his admission retest and training test, the leadership was impressed with his skills and bumped him up the Lance Corporal before sending him off to be part of the 9th Militia in a town to the south near the border. RP Sample: Krauss took a deep breath as he walked out onto the training course with his instructor. "Ahhh, five years and nothing has changed." he said aloud with a smile. The instructor chuckled and handed him a rifle as they arrived at the shooting range. "Hmm hmm, yes, but let's see if you have, Pfc. Helfer. You still got that crack shot of yours?" the instructor said. Krauss opened the bolt of the rifle, counting the rounds, before closing again and aiming down range. He fired off five shots in quick succession, scoring four hits. The instructor's jaw dropped as Krauss calmly and quickly loaded another round and fired, eliminating the 5th target. "I guess I do Sergeant. I've been doing a lot of pigeon shooting in my free time. Can't let my natural gift get rusty now can I?" he said with a grin. The instructor turned to him, still somewhat dumbstruck. Suddenly he busted out with a healthy chuckle and gave Krauss a strong pat on the back that nearly knocked him down. "That a boy! You'll be a damn fine soldier! Now come on now, you cocky son of a bitch, and lets see if that holds through with PT. Come on! Hup two hup two!" he said jogging off. Krauss's face noticeably changed to that of disappointment before jogging after his instructor. "Uuggghh... not more running...." "What was that Private!?" "Nothing sarg!" Oh and no particular favorite from the game.... sort of didn't like the specific characters all that much... but the game was fun and the overall story was enough to keep me interested!
