Bio: The second child kidnapped, Nyssa was eight years old when she was lured away. Her kidnapper was somehow able to keep her hidden away for three years before she was ultimately killed at around the same time as Matty. A victim of sexual abuse at the hands of her father, Nyssa was sure her kidnapper had the same intentions. When it became clear that wasn't going to happen, she was actually grateful to be away from her father for awhile. But as time passed and she realized she wouldn't be going home, she began to mentally break. She went from begging for her mother to closing in on herself, muttering strange things to herself such as, "Fly away to mommy... like a pretty birdy..." As a ghost, her mind has a hard time seeing living people as individuals. In her eyes, all men are either her father, or her kidnapper. Women, however, her mind equates to the kind mother who always tried to protect her, and perhaps someone who can save her and the other children from this hell on earth...
