Meruin 'tched' in frustration. The shield would hold, but it would be severely weakened. That wasn't good. It was her greatest defense against Tyler, who was currently a walking hurricane (she was sure he would stop soon, but she wasn't sure he would stop soon [i]enough[/i]) She used part of her undead legion to jump up and intercept some attacks. 

In the meantime, she slid Golden Authority through another book, and a wave of mud spread throughout the gym, causing the floors to cling towards Tylers feet.
