I figured that hey, if something like a strange weapon of a tech level that doesn't fit the real world had been a problem it would've been adressed in that post as well, or touched upon later what with another bio getting approved before he or she left and others being denied and all that.

But hey, that's not really important. I'll readily accept a "Well we don't want tech powersuits because that's not what we're looking for, we want strictly magical" or whatever else, but "we don't have this technology yet" in a fantasy roleplay done in an anime vibe seems like a really silly answer to the question when real life physics are already getting destroyed by magic, chi and assorted superpowers.
