A smile spread across Sharon’s face. She loved that they could talk like this. Playful and cheekishly without the other thing that they’d be interested in anyone else; it was hard to believe that she could be this happy but… well she was. Much better than the last boyfriend she had to deal with (that’s not a pretty conversation there) and way better than Stark and dealing with his flirtatious and annoying ways that he was, for some ungodly reason, convinced was ‘charming’. To Sharon, it was anything but charming. Then there was Steve Rogers. His abilities were only outshined by his modesty and his want to do good with the world. Protecting people was his top priority and she couldn’t help but feel like she was towards the top of his list of people to protect. The voice echoed from the door that nearly made her jump out of her skin. As Steve jumped she found herself folding into him as if something was going to attack her; even though it was Director Fury who probably wouldn’t be too happy seeing the two standing in her apartment. “Last I saw him he was heading downstairs sir.” She called back. “Fetch him for me, we need to have a meeting in the main living room; it’s important.” He said in a stern tone before his footsteps were heard leaving from her door. Silence filled the room for a moment before she let out a small sigh in relief as he left. She below some of her blonde hair from her face before she looked up at the gorgeous man, “Well,” She began, her voice sounding rather sad. “I guess we must go. Have you noticed that this job has a habit of ruining good moments?” A small laugh left her as she rested her head against his shoulder breathing softly against his neck with a tender smile. “I don’t want to go.”
