"I'm so glad it worked! I can't believe that I was actually able to do that!" Kido clapped his hands happily for a moment, still a bit excited. "I don't think that I can do that too many more times, but I'm willing to try again. We should really ask the counselors for help if it gets to be too much, though. They know how to deal with stuff like this, too."

As if suddenly realizing something, Kido stopped completely with widened eyes. Looking down at the ground, the small boy shifted uncomfortably and tried to avoid eye contact. "Um...you're welcome, I guess..." There was something...something there...he hadn't realized it before, but...it was...wasn't it?
