Rosette Sauveterre and Codi Bailey From where they stood near the door, Rosette and Codi watched as paramedics rushed into the room, before carrying out a body bag. They didn’t see who was inside, and neither had ever seen something like this before, but they both knew what it was. Codi covered her mouth in shock, while Rosette stared with a solemn, somehow sad look on her face. While Codi acted somewhat normal, going pale, and looking as though she wanted to scream, Rosette maintained her composure, though she, too, was affected by it. Rosette shook her head, “So this is a dangerous place, after all.” She said, as though she had suspected danger, and was just now confirming it. “Rose, how can you stay calm? That was a body! Someone died!” Codi cried, once it had gone past, just as Henry had exited the building and seemingly undergone some sort of breakdown. Rosette looked at where the door had closed behind the paramedics, “I do not know who was in that bag, but this location should have been a safe place. If murders are occurring on the school grounds, then we are all in danger until the killer is captured. Staff will probably start questioning students of their whereabouts, and the chances are, it would also be recommended that students begin traveling in groups, versus being alone. People will not be able to comfortably sleep at night until the issue is resolved.” Codi frowned, still looking shaken, “There’s a murderer on the loose? Oh…no…” Her voice started getting faint, like she was going to pass out from shock. She had thought the problems had ended with the jungle, but now a murderer was on the school grounds. She had also not eaten, and hunger was starting to make her feel weak, combined with the shock, which made her feel as though she were going to faint. Rosette looked at Codi, “Calm down, you look like you’re going to pass out. Listen, there is nothing wrong with grieving, but if you let sorrow or fear cripple you, then you will live out a miserable life, and might render yourself helpless to something far worse than your current situation.” She said. “I did not know that person they carried out, and though I wish I could grieve, I cannot lie and say that I can. I also know that nothing I say will make this situation any better for those that did know that person and care about them. I can only accept the turn of events, and take the best course of action that I can.” Rosette then looked at the door, “We must take precautions to protect ourselves, while hopefully discovering the person who did this, so that they may be dealt with accordingly.” She murmured. Her gaze darkened, “There are people like that on this island who would take an innocent life…it sickens me.”
