_________________________________________________________ Act 3: Ordeal of Innocence:: _________________________________________________________ --- September 10th, 7:00 AM ---

One day since the death of Vera, and the school has been attempting to cover it up - mask it from the students and handle matters behind closed doors. However, through rumors, word of mouth and the efforts of Deborah Termellio, news of Vera's death did not go unheard. It had come to the point where the headmaster had ordered everyone to gather in the Auditorium to give a formal announcement about the death. Today was a cloudy day. --- Adam Leo Blackmore, & Deborah Lillian Termellio. ---

Mr & Mrs. Dubnin, I am incredibly sorry to inform you that an accident has taken the life of your daughter. We will be sending her body back to you so you may decide her burial. Again, I am doing everything in my power to find out who's responsible for this. Adam had always hoped that the school morgue never gets used, but as he could tell, only one case was being used. Standing on a white tile floor and surrounded by metal doors - with only one being used. Adam stared at it blankly. He never thought such a upstanding student would be the victim of a senseless act of violence. This wasn't the first time this has happened - or, as pessimistic as it sounded, the last - but that never made it any better. Adam sighed as he turned to walk out the room. He wished it was different, but he has a day's worth of work to do. Wearing his usual black suit and red tie combo (With black dress shoes) he strolled out the hospital doors. Ignoring the nurses and doctors completely. His business wasn't with them unfortunately. He was heading for the Training Hall. "Adam..." A voice appeared from behind him, and it made him turn around. It was one of his students, Deborah Termellio. Dressed in a navy-blue blouse, and jeans, with black combat boots. She had a purse underneath her arm. She was looking rather melancholic. She took a step towards Adam, and left one foot behind her. "I... Wanted to talk to you." "Yes, Ms. Termellio?" Adam turned towards Deborah and asked her. "What will happen to Vera...?" Deborah's head darted towards the side as if she was desperate to avoid eyecontact with Adam. "Once the lockdown has been lifted... the school will be shipping Vera's body back to her family." Adam nodded his head. He was a bit suspicious of Deborah. He switched to his telepathy and with one peak into her mind, he learned that she was hoping to find Vera's murderer - Which was the real reason why she came over here. She was hoping to get something from him. "Ms. Termellio..." Adam rolled his eyes as he shook his head. "You are not a detective, you are a student, and you are certainly in no position to be investigating murders." This filled Deborah with anger. And it showed as she grit her teeth, balled her fists and strongly stomped her foot onto the ground. "What the hell am I supposed to do then?!" She yelled at him, "She was my friend and I can't stand by and... and.. do nothing!" Adam tipped his glasses at her and calmly said, "I understand how you feel, but the investigators are doing their job." "I know, but..." Deborah quickly realized who she was talking to. "Nevermind." She said as she turned around and walked away. Adam did the same. --- September 10th, 4:03 PM --- Deborah Lillian Termellio, & Shannon Jacqueline Balore.

"... I know you're not going to sit put." Shannon said to Deborah as they walked side by side. She was wearing a bright-green and frilly dress, with black cowboy-like boots and glasses. "I just can't..." Deborah cupped her forehead as she walked through the school grounds. "Not when I could have been there to stop it." "I know I can't talk you out of this one..." Shannon said as she rolled her eyes. "But whatever you do, I will follow." Deborah grabbed onto Shannon's hand for a second. "Good, I'm... really glad I at least have one person who will help me." But, they were heading to the auditorium in the Administration building for the headmaster's big speech. Deborah herself was wondering what nonsense he'll spout, but every student has to go there, so she'll be one of the people there. She and Shannon made their way into the very auditorium they were oriented in. Hm. It wasn't too crowded, but she was certain people would be pouring in any second now. The stage was empty... Which meant the headmaster would be coming out any second now. Deborah herself found a seat not too far away from the headmaster - she wanted a good position so she could observe anyone else. Learn about them. Jago Andrew Javuant.

It was just so fucking annoying! Feeling helpless, and being unable to help the people he knows he could have. It just... Ugh! Young Jago needed a break, or just something to distract himself. He wasn't sure why he was getting so worked up over. It was just one woman! One! He didn't even know her that well, so why... No what, there's no point in thinking so hard about it. So, over the day he had to himself, young Jago kept to himself, and spent it either in the woods or in the gym playing basketball all by himself. The basketball dribbling was almost a rhythm. The sounds it made were rhythm-like. Young Jago let out a puff of air as he alternated hands as he dribbled. He focused on the hoop, since there was nothing between him and that hoop. Not his emotions. Absolutely nothing. He made one burst of spastic movement that carried him forward. It was a fine demonstration of his footwork put to good use, he made it across the court to the hoop in a few seconds. He leaped up like a bunny and slammed the ball right through the ring with one hand. There was that satisfying sound of it going through that ring and hitting the floor of the court. He let his feet hit the ground... but man, he felt empty. Right now basketball just wasn't doing it for him. He didn't know why. He does know why... Ugh! Why the hell can't he just move on and forget about it!? It's not his problem. It's... Jago didn't know anymore. Maybe he should stop lying to himself and admit that he's affected as anyone else about it. He slammed his foot onto the hard floor of the basketball court and turned around. He walked over to the vending machine and tried to find his only solace; juice. This time he didn't steal it, he just inserted a dollar and got a drink back. Equivalent exchange... Oh yeah, there was that big meeting the Headmaster was gathering everyone for. Jago didn't want to piss off anyone else by being absent. So he made his way over there with the soda in hand. Jago nodded his head as he stepped into the room. He threw the hoodie over his head and started walking through the crowds. He eyeballed a few familiar faces - but, hell, he ain't in the mood for talking to them. All he wanted to do is be alone. That's why, instead of finding a seat, he leaned up against the wall and waited to see whatever bullshit Dellamorte pulls out of his ass. Heh. It better be entertaining - or someone should jump on that stage and rip that old bastard to pieces.... Yeah, that'd be fun to watch. For now, the little black boy hung in the background. Drinking his soda. Waiting for the show to begin...
