In 2077, Taylor A. Lockart was born into a family of wealth in Bristol, England. His family were rich due to their participation in Project Black Gold, a project to keep the stockpile of oil from going into the low levels; which was successful within the project's due date. The father and mother were apart of the Weyland Corporation and in the research team from thirty years until the Yutani Corporation merged with the Weyland Corporation. While as a child, Taylor and his older brothers were taught at the best boys only schools in England and out of all the children within the Lockarts, Taylor proved to be the smartest one. After he graduated from the schools, he went to Oxford from three years to get his M.Sc. 

When he left Oxford in 2100, he joined the newly Weyland-Yutani Corporation as a researcher. From seven years, he participated in many projects and researches that the corporation did. One of his key projects was Project Spark, a project that was to find out ways to improve the speech of people with speech impediments. It was found that the nerves in a person mouth weren't connected to the brain. After Project Spark After Project Spark, Taylor was promoted to Head Researcher of Weyland-Yutani Corporation in 2105 and two years later, he was called up to be a Scientific Officer from Mission Aphelion and the USCSS Aphelion. He was called to be assigned due to his skills of handing and researching parts from the original Prometheus blueprints and he accepted the offer that Weyland-Yutani Corporation made to him.
