As the rock flew toward Kido, he focused on not letting it hit him. He really didn't want to--!!!

The boy yelped as he fell backwards on the grass, releasing a bright flash of the light he had been trying to create. Well, at least the rock hadn't hit him, but what was that? "The...the door...why didn't I tell someone...?" He let out a quiet mumble as he sat somewhat dazed.
