Of course Kakashi fucking undervalued her! She has awesome chakra control and can knock some serious shit when she needs to. PLUS she's pretty damn cute. Sakura is pretty clever too, I mean she was in the top five what...3-5 people in her class? As long as she got over her Sasuke crush, she could be unstoppable and use her rivalry with Ino as a good thing, where as Naruto and Sasuke let it get too out of hand for crying out loud. Sakura can heal and throw punches, not to mention she doesn't put up with petty shit anymore. 

Btw...just guessing here but if Choji got Ino, I wouldn't be upset. I'd laugh but that's it...I still ship the shit out of ShikaSaku...so as long as it's not ShikaIno or ShikaTema that was endgame...
