Dex Conlon - Home With a hesitant hand, Dex held his hand bear the doorknob. He already unlocked it, but had trouble going in. He took a deep breath and slowly twisted the knob, pushing the door open. Once the entrance lay clear, he too the first step - the hardest - into the premise he called home. Even though he called it home, the only thing 'home' about it was the memory of his wife when she embraced him in bed. Dex closed the door behind him and found himself watching from the old cop's perspective. Where he stood now was where the cop stood when he shot both Taylor and Elise. The devil in form of man came into mind. With a sudden shortness of breath, he walked towards the dinning room table and sat on one of the chairs. He noticed some cigarettes near him and reached for them. Gently he pulled his lighter out of his pocket and lit the end, beginning to smoke. His eyes were locked on where his wife was shit, still seeing the image of her death. One could make the inference that his eyes were red from the smoke, but that's be wrong. He was enraged, a flood of wrath ruining him as he contined to stare and smoke. He stopped to put out the cogarette as he stood. He reached for the edge of his shirt and pulled it over his head along with his hat, throwing both items on the ground. The tattoo on his back revealed some of his pain, a symbol of his own downfall. He had an angel with a broken wing, grabbing its shoulder in pain on his right upper up. On the left side of his chest he had his wife's name embedded. It was to symbolize his never ending memory and love of her. For as long as he lived, she'd always be with him in spirit. Anyhow, the men completely unclothed and entered the old fashioned tub. H turned the shower head on and started to shower. The house was paid in full from the start, the couple was lucky enough to have the money back then. Of course, Dex was the one who got it - but nobody said it was legally. Despite that, they had lived a glorious life until that day. He also missed Elise, even if the cops showed up because of her. He never blamed her for what happened that night. Because of her, Taylor was always happy and had the sister she always wished for. It was unconstitutional to rid of an android who became human, it was artificial life, but life nonetheless. But at the end of the day, the desire to change things was still in Dex. Even if changing things declared bloodshed. The first step was to fulfill his promise, afterwards, he'd take down every corruption in this broken city. He wasn't a vigilante, but he wasn't going to stand and watch as what happened to his family happened to others. Though his main priority was first revenge.
