 The setting is the "time frame before Darth Caedus" so this the after the Yuuzhan Vong War.

-Galactic Alliance, Imperial, and Jedi victory
-Reformation of the New Republic into the Galactic Alliance
-Massive civilian casualties and widespread devastation
-Self-exile of the Yuuzhan Vong species

Following the Yuuzhan Vong war (30ABY), the Jedi academy was moved to Ossus, while the High Council relocated to a newly-constructed Jedi Temple on Coruscant (35 ABY). During the Dark Nest Crisis they numbered over 200 Jedi. 

This is our time period before 40 ABY (the time of Caedus) but after 35 ABY.
