"..." He put his hands before himself, one palm over the other, sort of a pentagram or a circle made from his body. "Let me try something..." Blackness started pouring from his hands like a faucet. It washed over the surrounding area, the trees disappearing, the ground being covered, and the ghost... it was expelled, flying away not of it's own accord. Soon a small circle had enveloped them and all Luna could see was a faint outline of the boy that stood before her... the sounds of the forest were gone, the smells of it dissipating as well, and Luna would not be troubled by spirits as long as she was in here. He had sealed them off with the black energy, expelling every earthly thing except themselves and the air they breathed, which flowed through a filtration system so powerful it was as clean as air could possibly get. "It wasn't a spider, and I could sense other things about in the world... The dark energy of this world latches onto things and allows me to sense them, on some level... I couldn't tell what it is, but I'm guessing it's a spirit... you can see spirits can't you?" The room illuminated a bit more as light was let to trickle in, but it still was dim at best.
