[*]Brief Bio: Nanoha was a fairly ordinary young Japanese girl, until a mage who was temporarily a ferret found his way to her world, with a magical device called Raising Heart. Having always desired a deeper purpose, and to help people, Nanoha took up the device and became a magical girl herself, out to prevent the artifacts known as "Jewel Seeds" from wreaking havoc on Earth. It was during this time that she met Fate Testarossa, first her enemy, but now her very, very close friend. After the incident with the Jewel Seeds, Nanoha trained herself in magic further and further, in spite of her young age, until a later incident occurred. The Wolkenritter, magical beings used as gurdians by the dangerous magical tome The Book of Darkness, were draining magic in order to complete it. They believed this act would save their current master. The Book of Darkness was completely, and threatened the entire world, but due to the actions of Nanoha, Fate, the book's own Master(with the embodiment of the book), and the Wolkenritter, disaster was averted and the Book of Darkness's berserking defense program was destroyed. The incident gained national attention, and with collaboration from the TSAB(an administration working with intergalactic magical affairs) it was determined that Nanoha would spend some time with one of Earth's superhero teams, for young heroes for a time. Nanoha is fine with this as long as she could remain in contact with Fate and her other friends.[/*]
[*]Abilities: Nanoha is a mage utilizing the Mid-Childan form of magic. This type of magic emphasizes nonlethal magical techniques, and in Nanoha's case a variable barrage of pink lasers. Nanoha's spells vary in their potency. There are spells such as "Axel Shooter", a spell creating varying numbers of pink "bullets" of magic which she can control as long as she can maintain focus on controlling them. Then there are more potent spells, such as Divine Buster, effectively a large beam of magic. Then there is her most powerful spell, Starlight Breaker, which gathers mana from the environment and from previously-cast spells into an immense ball which is then fired has a gigantic beam. Due to its nature, Starlight Breaker is only used towards the end of a fight, and only if necessary. Nanoha can cast binding spells to hold her opponent in place for spells with longer casting times, and is capable of flight using a spell known as Axel Fin. She also knows several defensive spells. Nanoha casts magic using Raising Heart, an Intelligent Device in the form of a staff which houses an advanced AI capable of thought and emotion. Its dormant form is a simple, small red orb, which responds to the activation phrase "Raising Heart, Please!" While Nanoha is Japanese, Raising Heart speaks in English, though there's no doubt that Nanoha has been supplied with a TSAB translator as she is working outside of Japan. Finally, Nanoha can conjure a "barrier jacket", a magical defense system in the form of a piece of clothing, which defends her from many nonmagical forms of harm. Bullets, and some other weapons, are of little use against her when her barrier jacket is active. Magical or more potent forms of harm, however, still can endanger her, though her barrier jacket can prevent lethal injury. All of Nanoha's spells are nonlethal, though they'll knock a target out cold, and physically she is a completely ordinary ten-year-old girl.[/*]
[*]Personality: Nanoha is a kind, sweet-natured girl who always tries to understand everyone. Even if the road to understanding involved blowing them up with massive pink laser beams before they're willing to talk. Yes, Nanoha is very understanding, but even at her young age that doesn't stop her from realizing that some people won't listen until you make them stop fighting. She'll try to talk to her enemies first, but trying to talk to your enemies doesn't mean not defending yourself. She is protective of others and is a highly optimistic young girl, with a positive outlook on just about everything. She does not give up, even if it puts her in danger, and is very determined to be strong so she can help people better as demonstrated by her own intensive training. However, she is still a rather naive child and sometimes doesn't understand more adult subjects. Nanoha is dedicated to friendship, and especially that with Fate Testarossa. Nanoha's friendship with Fate is deep and highly affectionate, and the two girls are very close. Nanoha loves flying, and perhaps is somewhat too into her own firepower.[/*]

-The TSAB: The Time-space Administration Bureau, the TSAB is an organization operating off of the planet Mid-Childa, which can be compared to Earth's country of Japan with some European influences as well. The TSAB administrates worlds and is dedicated to the safety of civilians and the prevention of the abuse of magic. According to some sources they have something of a rivalry with the famed Green Lantern Corps. Specific individuals in the TSAB Nanoha is aligned with are Lindy Harlaown, Chrono Harlaown, and Yuuno Scrya.

They remain very close, Nanoha frequently contacting Fate, and even meeting her when it's possible for transport spells to be conducted covertly.

The Wolkenritter are beings made of magic to defend the Book of Darkness and gather magic for it.
