How could he have forgotten about the possibility of a ricochet?! In response to Elijah's words, though, Cedric sighed, and decided that discretion was the better part of valor, saying: "All right, Pyro, you've got me - apparently, you can shake off refractory metals and flame-suppressant foam, while my...peer is not only tired out, but is devoted to preventing me from fighting." He sighed. "All right, you win," his voice was bitter. And with that, he turned to walk away, sad and at the same time, fearful.
