Alright in terms of setting: it' just a name so we know what we're doing when travelling to other towns etc. and so we know whether or not we can use boats, go fishing etc. In terms of the language just pretend this is all translated perfectly from Italian to English. And your house and your real life setting you are accustomed to, copy and paste into this town.

Whats happening now: I haven't read everyone's posts yet in the IC so I'm just going to go on a limb here. A while back a broadcast was transmitted over the radio to meet in the hall. There are about 20 of us. Obviously yourselves, and a few other random people. For the mean time we are waiting for something to happen, then a speech will be delivered. Edit: Oh and in terms of weapons, the past year was not violent except in the first few months. People became very peaceful and helpful, and then there were to few alive for savages to cause any real damage. So for the mean time, weapons exist, but for no really really big reason.
