It was a little disappointing that he wouldn’t accept the help of her people when he would be doing the town such a wonderful favor and her face dropped to one of sadness. She’d prefer to be helpful instead of having him think that they would just be using him for his skills. It’s funny to think that someone could live what would be defined as ‘simple’. She never really understood simple and neither did Anna as much as she wanted to think she did. Simple wasn’t in their nature because they weren’t used to growing up without getting what they wanted. Then… then there was responsibilities that came with being Queen and having responsibilities thrust upon you becomes a lot more than what you’d expect. Especially when you lack a parental figure to guide you through the process… Elsa found herself leaning back against the chair awaiting his answer as he talked. Her power surged through her and she could feel the worry and shame of being rejected moving through her body. The back of the chair, though unseen from her covering it, began to crackle behind her as her power stretched across the back of the chair and began to spread and design into spirals, covering the back in ice. Her breathe held as she awaited his pondering, even the glass in her hand slowly began to have ice crawl from her hands in her panic. But until his gentle smile and his statement that he would take the job, the ice on the ice fell off and disappeared in the warmth of the room and the ice on the chair feel in the same fashion, disappearing before it even hit the ground. An unmistakable bright smile of joy moved across her face as she gave him a nod, “Anything you need, you have my word you will receive. I understand that your time is precious and you might other projects that you need to complete but I certainly do appreciate you taking the time to help out my country.” The night went on well. Sadon and Elsa held a good casual conversation and the more she talked to him, the more relaxed she felt around the man. The idea of calling out to Anna for some form of emotional support wasn’t needed anymore. She kept herself calm and relaxed and was able to find happiness while talking to him. It was an unreal feeling and something she didn’t expect to find some a stranger. The ability to calm her stressed-side was something she thought only Anna could do but here she was, being proved wrong. The night ended, the party guests left and she, Kristoff and Anna escorted Sadon to the gates to leave. “See you tomorrow!” Anna said in a peppy-yet-half-asleep tone as she leaned against her husband looking exhausted but happy at the same time. “Yes, we look forward to your return tomorrow. Do not rush on our account but I will make sure the doors are attended so that your stuff may be easily moved if you wish to have help to get into the forge.” The small group said their good byes as Sadon departed upon his newly arrived horse and the small family retired in the castle. The next day rolled around rather fast and Elsa strolled the halls talking to a couple of important head figures of the country and explaining the situation with Sadon. Her long light blue dress trailed elegantly behind her and her blonde hair was folded into her normal braid hanging down over her right shoulder. She felt a lot more comfortable in her ice dress than the blue one she was wearing the night before and she seemed to glow with a sense of comfort in her normal attire. Though the crown on her head was still a new thing for her to get used to… although she probably never get used to it. “Your highness.” A young scout approached her panting heavily. “Catch your breath young man, don’t rush yourself to speak.” She said gently. The young man was bend over at his hips, his hands on his knees as he calmed himself. “A man… on… on a horse… with a carriage… is coming…” A smile moved across her full soft pink lips as she nodded to him. “Please inform the town guards to insure the gates to the town and the castle are unlocked then take your break; you’ve worked hard and I thank you for it.” After the guy left she went the castle entrance and stepped outside onto the grand staircase overlooking the entrance to the castle where carriages would pull up. A large smile moved across full lips as she watched the figure pull closer to the castle. Her heart was fluttering and her body was filled with excitement as she saw him get closer; why was this so exciting? Probably because he’s a new person… yeah that’s right, and that’s all…. Right?
