Well I see that you're doing it that way, but if I turn to my bookshelf and open a book I won't see that. You said that's how you see it in books, I was just wondering what books you might mean. I usually see it like this "Hey, Bob," Phil called out, "C'mere." "Watchu want?" Bob replied. "Just c'mere" "Tell me what you want." "Just get your ass over here!" Like in your example, extended back and forths don't usually require you to reiterate who is speaking. Though inflection and character actions will sometimes be mentioned. This is how I've always written and seen dialogue written, and it's how I was taught was proper in school.
