Steve held on to Sharon as she spoke, and was quite surprised to see her jump so badly, but he wasn't complaining. He enjoyed her being this close. Nick Fury left, and that meant they only had a minute or two left before they had to go back out there and pretend that they were only acquaintances in the work place. He was sure that whatever Fury has planned, he was going to be seeing a lot of Stark, and the other Avengers. They were good at saving the earth from aliens, and they knew how to party on their off time. Last time they were all together they spent the night at a bar in New York, telling stories and having an arm wrestling competition (Thor demanded a rematch with Steve)... Sharon's head went on his shoulder, and her breath on his neck left him with electrifying shivers. He gently put his hands on her sides, and the words "i don't want to go" melted his heart. half of him wanted to lock that door again, and spend time with this beautiful blonde... but the other half of him kept remind him of Fury's words: "It's important." "I don't want to either... But that just means we'll have to pick this up later... I do have a key after all..." Steve said softly. He removed his hand from her side, and gently lifted her head up by the chin so he could look at her. He was getting better at not blubbering like an idiot whenever he stared at her... but he still had his moments of a man who was so amazed by this woman that he couldn't think straight. "Before we go back out there, and we have to act professional and Stark tries to make another move on you... I want you to know that not only are you a fantastic field agent, but an even more amazing woman. You're pretty, and fantastic, and you know how to make a place feel like home." He said all of this rather fast, because of the amount of time they had left, and his mind racing with all that he wanted to say to her that he couldn't show out there. He gave a smile, showing his white teeth before giving her one last kiss. "Alright... You should exit first. I'll be there in a second. Don't want to make it look like we were doing something we weren't supposed to..." He said with a small grin. Once she left, he waited a minute before walking out himself, and locking the door behind him, smirking a bit still on how she gave him her key. He made his way down the stairs and in to the large living room that they all now shared apparently. "Captain. Nice of you to join us." Director Fury said with a nod. "Weird for you to be late. Isn't that your thing?" Stark asked, sitting on the large leather couch. With him was the whole crew. Clint Barton, AKA: Hawkeye, Natashia, Thor, Bruce Banner, Tony Stark, and Agent 13 all standing or sitting around the living room. "Good to see you again, Steve Rogers." Thor called out with a smile. Thor had trouble trusting humans for obvious reasons, but he has made it known that he would follow Captain America in to any battle. "You too." Steve said with a nod and smile, holding on to his wrists in military style. "So what's this all about?" Hawkeye asked, leaning forward in his chair. "As you all know: S.H.I.E.L.D. has been compromised... We have no valid evidence of anything yet, except that our attackers are using a man known as The Winter Soldier." With those words Hawkeye and Black Widow tensed, Natashia giving more of a glare. "For the agency's safety, and our own, Mister Stark agreed to let us use Stark Towers for our temporary HQ until we can get some leverage on the situation." "Do we have any leads? Any info on where we start?" Bruce Banner asked. "We have our files on the Winter Soldier. Romanoff, Barton, Agent 13, since you are the best in espionage, you will follow a lead not far from here under the command of Captain Rogers here." Fury said, glancing at them and then over at Rogers. Steve nodded. "I'll need to know more if we are going in." Rogers said. Fury nodded. "I'll give you a rundown with your squad shortly. As for now... Get to know each other. you'll be living here for a little while until we can clear this all up."
